Shree Krishna Hospital has always believed that quality medical care should be within the reach of all, as illnesses strike indiscriminately. It has constantly been in our endeavors to ensure that there is cohesion in the quality of care we provide and the rates charged for it. Simultaneously it has been in our ethos to ensure that no person ever gets away without treatment because of a lack of resources.
The hospital channelizes affordable care for the needy through the following schemes :
Research studies across the nation have shown that a single episode of illness or accident involving hospitalization pushes a family living slightly above the poverty line to below the poverty line. And, unfortunately, it takes decades for them to cover the financial deficit incurred out of huge medical expenses. To ensure that an equal cover of quality medical care is made within the reach of masses that are already identified to be economically compromised, the hospital has been offering huge concessions to all the families falling into the category of BPL. The benefits include :
A recent addition to our endeavors to make the quality care of Shree Krishna Hospital affordable, through this scheme, on annual memberships all the families whose monthly family income is less than Rs.10,000/- get all the benefits that are offered through the BPL scheme. The benefits of the BPL scheme are channelized to those who have not been included in the government-recognized list of BPL families due to administrative gaps.
Chronic illnesses pose a serious threat to the financial growth of families since medical care is generally for a long duration or in most cases, permanent. Arogyashree is a platform to offers waivers on treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, respiratory problems, kidney problems, thyroid, etc. Waivers are offered on outpatient and indoor treatments on annual memberships through dedicated clinics. The benefits include :
Shree Krishna Hospital free indoor medical care up to a limit of Rs. 20,000/- per annum to families having membership of Sardar Patel Arogya Mandal. The families are members of milk cooperatives of the Anand and Kheda districts. Hospital has tied up with Tribhuvandas Foundation which is actively involved at the grass root level with these cooperatives.
This scheme is in lieu of the ESIS (Employee State Insurance Scheme) where all the workers of GIDC of Vitthal Udyognagar are given free indoor treatment in the general wards. Each year hospital incurs huge losses in providing free medical treatment to patients from the ESIS scheme as the amount premium is way too less as compared to the cost incurred after treatment. Despite this condition, the hospital continues this scheme owing to the fact that treatment is offered to laborers who have limited income.
The super-specialty consultations which are otherwise extremely high in any private or corporate hospital are made available in the general services of the hospital at just Rs. 100/-.
In a recent initiative to make quality care affordable, the following charges have been waived off for indoor treatment in general wards for all the patients who do not benefit from any other scheme/category :
